2024 was my last art exhibition at my old apartment. Oh, it was such a perfect place to turn into a gallery for one day only. I will miss it, but at least I had a wonderful last experience there this summer. So many people visited, so many paintings found a new home.
I am so happy! 🖤

WIP: Lovely Anticipation (Ihana odotus, 2022) was a commission work for someone who saw “Finishing Touch” at my art exhibition and contacted me later to inquire about it, but it had already been sold. So we agreed I will create her a brand new painting with a similar theme. It turned out the sweetest, lightest and most joyful artwork I’ve done so far!
In August 2022 I had my very first art exhibition in my tiny studio during Portsan Pihamarkkinat, which is an annual, very popular market event. It was a scorching day, and people were plenty and in good spirits. I received more sweet and encouraging comments for my exhibition and paintings than I ever dreamed. I sold several pieces, and some people even contacted me later to inquire about certain paintings they regretted not buying.
Below you will find a short video of my studio apartment on the morning of the exhibition. Before people arrived, I added some 1920’s jazz, which really completed the atmosphere.
